MERRY CHRISTMAS

Well Christmas is all most here, just 2 sleeps away and at last  all the presents have been wrapped.

We will be spending Christmas Day with our 3 girls and their families I only wish my son and his family was could  be with us also.

A  Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year  to all .

At last I have finished this quilt. It was started in about 1984. The basket blocks were our club's first friendship swap. Finished 2weeks ago for our quilt show . One down many more to go.

AT LAST

What a day I have had so far, been on line for quite some time and to my delight have found fabric I have been chasing for some time  now to finish a quilt.  I have looked  many times but  to no avail but today I hit the jackpot and am very excited..   At last I will get a quilt finished ( was to surprise no 1 daughter but rather think it suits my room perfectly  she may be lucky!!) as I have a number of  partly made ones which I call my  "one days" that is one day i might finish them.

As I have eventually taken my new (12months old) husqvarna  "diamond" sewing  machine out of the box and tried out some of the embroidery designs built in  I have become more enthusiastic to get back to  my crafts.

Here's hoping I will have some finished projects to show  in the near future.

I've just started blogging and would like to introduce myself.....
my name is Lyn and I'm an avid crafter who loves brazilian embroidery, patchwork, stitchery, craft of almost any sort and I LOOOOOOVE fabric.

I have owned a craft store in a former life and am still working through my stash!!
I know I'm going to find lots of inspiration here in Blogland!
